Paper towel technique: Paper towels have natural texture potential. Taking a suggestion from Bernie Berlin, I painted a paper towel with lumiere paints.
When dry, I tore it into scraps and glued them down to a card and trimmed the edges. That's it! Instant textured background....very easy. Now I have a great backdrop for a new ATC (I seem to be great at making backgrounds, just not actually finishing the ATC, lol!).
If you try this technique, I'd love to see the end result.
